Office & business moving
Relocate your offices and premises without stopping your business for longer than necessary
Companies, shops, practices and workshops: KAIROS plans and carries out the transfer of your furniture and equipment around your hours, your access constraints and your priorities.
Logistics designed for businesses
Moving a business means moving workstations, archives and sometimes sensitive equipment, all while keeping the business running. We prepare the operation with you: volume inventory, access check (loading bays, lifts, time slots imposed by the building), transfer order by department or by floor.
The transfer can be done in one go, in several phases or outside opening hours, whichever disrupts your organisation least. A single point of contact follows the operation from preparation to the last box.
What we take care of
-
Offices and head offices
Workstations, furniture, IT equipment disconnected and protected, archives and supplies.
-
Shops and retail
Shop fittings, stock, displays and equipment, on a schedule that works around your trading days.
-
Business premises
Practices, agencies, workshops and small commercial units: full or partial transfer.
-
Furniture and equipment
Disassembly, protection, transport and reassembly of office furniture; handling of bulky equipment.
-
Internal or site-to-site transfers
Reorganisation within the same building or relocation to a new site, in the Paris region or elsewhere in France.
-
Clearing the old premises
Removal of remaining furniture and bulky items so you can hand back empty premises (see our Clearance service).
How it works
A four-stage method
-
Preparatory call or site visit
Volumes, access, building constraints, calendar and your business priorities.
-
Transfer plan
Order of operations, phases if any, staffing and vehicles, protection and labelling.
-
Execution
Disassembly, loading, transport and set-up according to the agreed plan, with a crew leader on site.
-
End-of-job check
We check with you that everything is in place before closing the job.
Points to note
- IT equipment is transported disconnected and protected; disconnecting and reconnecting systems remains the responsibility of your IT provider unless otherwise agreed.
- Time slots imposed by buildings (loading bays, goods lifts, hours) are built into the schedule from the preparation stage.
- Services are insured within the limits of the cover taken out; high-value equipment should be mentioned when you contact us.
- We operate vehicles up to 3.5 t; large volumes are handled in rotations or phases.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions about this service
Can you work at weekends or at night?
Yes, depending on our availability and the rules of your building. It is often the simplest way to limit disruption to your business.
Will you take away furniture we no longer want?
Yes. Removal of leftover furniture and bulky items can be included in the job, under the conditions of our clearance service.
Do you work with small businesses as well as larger ones?
Yes. We adapt the crew, vehicles and phasing to the volume to be moved, whether it is a three-person practice or a whole floor of offices.
An office or business relocation to plan?
Tell us about your site, your volumes and your timeline: we will propose a suitable organisation.
