Personal data
Privacy policy
This site is designed to collect as little data as possible. Here is exactly what is processed, and why.
Data controller
The data controller is KAIROS (SAS), whose registered office is at 4 Rue du Moulin à Vent, 78310 Coignières, France. For any question about your data: contact@kairos-demenagement.com.
What this site does not do
- No contact or quote form: the site collects no data entered online.
- No user accounts, no customer area.
- No cookies set by the site, no audience measurement tools (such as Google Analytics), no advertising pixels or third-party trackers.
- No embedded interactive maps or third-party-hosted videos: photos and videos are served directly by the site.
Data processed when you contact us
When you call us, e-mail us or contact us via WhatsApp, we process the data you provide: identity, contact details (phone number, e-mail address), the addresses concerned by the service and the content of your request, including any photos you choose to send us.
This data is used to answer your request, review your project, prepare a quote and, where applicable, organise and carry out the service. It is not used for marketing without your consent and is never sold.
Legal basis and retention
- Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (review, quote), performance of the contract (service), KAIROS’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and legal obligations (accounting, invoicing).
- Enquiries that do not lead to a job: data is kept while the request is being handled, then for a maximum of three years after the last contact.
- Customers: data relating to quotes, contracts and invoices is kept for the duration of the relationship, then for the applicable statutory periods (in particular ten years for accounting records).
Recipients
Your data is processed by the KAIROS team. Where necessary, it may be shared with partners involved in a job (for example specialist providers for an international operation) and with the technical providers that supply our e-mail and website hosting. KAIROS does not transfer it outside the European Union on its own initiative, subject to the third-party services mentioned below.
Third-party services accessible from the site
Some links open third-party services that apply their own privacy policies: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) when you click a WhatsApp link, your e-mail application when you click an e-mail link, your phone application for call links, and OpenStreetMap for the link locating our address. No data is sent to these services until you click the corresponding link.
Hosting provider’s technical logs
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States). As with any website, the hosting provider’s servers may record technical logs (IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser) for security and operational purposes, kept for a limited period. This hosting involves processing of these technical data outside the European Union, governed by standard contractual clauses and Netlify’s privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to set instructions about your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to contact@kairos-demenagement.com or by post to the registered office. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. E-mail and WhatsApp exchanges rely on the security measures of those services. KAIROS limits access to data to the people who need it to handle your request.
Changes
If features that collect data (a form, an analytics tool, an embedded map) were added to the site, this policy would be updated and, where required by law, a consent mechanism would be put in place before any non-essential tracker is set.
